If you only have 24 hours here, a golf cart tour is the way to go—but book early so you get a great guide!

We stayed near the Colosseum (such a great location!) and found incredible pizza nearby - I Vaccinari | Ristorante Pizzeria Rione Monti—(we went twice). It was very crowded and the city was dirtier than we expected, but Rome still lived up to the hype.

We zipped around on scooters and bikes—quicker / more fun than taxis. The boys, hit Zara, toured the Vatican, we drank wine, cappuccinos and people watched.
