Witness Tells Court He Paid Blessing CEO ₦69.15m For A Property She Did Not Own A prosecution witness, Dr. Onuoha Okeiqwe, has told the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, that he paid ₦69.15m for a five-year lease of a property allegedly presented to him as belonging to Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO. Okeiqwe gave the testimony on Monday, October 12, 2026, before Justice R. A. Oshodi during the continuation of Blessing CEO’s trial. Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing involving ₦69.15m. She pleaded not guilty. The witness said the transaction involved a property at No. 1 Tunbosun Osobu Street, Lekki, Lagos, which was allegedly leased to Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited for five years. He told the court that he contacted Blessing CEO after concerns arose over the property’s ownership, alleging that she dismissed his concerns and maintained that she owned the building. Okeiqwe further testified that a man identified as Mr Tom later arrived with police officers and arrested some workers at the property. He said he paid ₦100,000 to secure their release. The witness also identified WhatsApp messages in which Blessing CEO allegedly sent photographs of the building as proof of ownership. He added that he paid agency, legal and caution fees. He maintained that the alleged misrepresentation involved Blessing CEO collecting ₦69.15m despite not being the property’s actual owner. He further alleged that she collected money from another person for the same property. The case is ongoing, and the allegations remain before the court.
If you’re grabbing whatever looks “healthy,” you might not be buying what you think you are. 👀 These are three “healthy” staples I’m much pickier about at 59: 1️⃣ Cheap olive oil Not all olive oil is created equal. I’ll spend more for high-quality extra-virgin olive oil from a source I trust. 2️⃣ Protein powder loaded with extras I look for simple ingredients and independent third-party testing, not just impressive promises across the package. 3️⃣ Bottled orange or apple juice I’d rather eat the whole fruit. And when I want juice, I’m lucky enough to squeeze grapefruit straight from my backyard. 🍊 Comment JUST EAT and I’ll send you my healthy meal ideas and simple meal plans. 💜
Comment “BOARDS” to get the topper’s journaling schedule to track where you’re actually wasting your time. Want to study smarter like a topper? Start with these 3 habits: • Pay attention in class — half of your revision gets done right there. • Don’t force yourself to study for 6–7 hours straight. Focus on shorter, productive sessions. • Track where your time is actually going, because you can’t save time you don’t know you’re wasting. Take out one hour at night to journal, reflect on your day, and identify where you can improve tomorrow. Save this reel and share it with all your friends who are also preparing for exams! #StudyTips #ToppersTips #StudyMotivation #ProductivityTips #BoardExams [study tips, toppers tricks, board exams, study routine, productivity, time management, journaling, student productivity, exam preparation, focus tips, study motivation, effective studying, study habits, academic success]
