Friendly reminder #AFRICANS are the original 'AQUA-MEN', Mame Wata is real and if WE want to dominate #WATERSPORTS we will. Ghanaians can and do love to #SWIM! @bspwpc @awwpc @bosomtwewaterpolo_1 Yɛnko!!! Yɛnko!!!✊🏿🏊🏾‍♂️🇬🇭💦

This is Ghana's first #waterpolo club with their eye on the Olympics!! It is an #incredible achievement/inception and it was awesome to learn, observe and be part of the team. They called me "Woman King" when they first saw me- that's how much representation matters. That's how much a girl embodying athleticism and 'muscular prosperity' impacts young people over there too because despite all of Yaa Asantewaa's efforts, a 'shredded' female with biceps is rare🤷🏾‍♀️

Just like in J-town all these athletes, trailblazers and community REALLY INSPIRE ME. This here is a phenomenon birthed from the resilient @santeprince who literally scouted the team from the ground when he was 'home'- and has got this far against all the odds...nyame nhyira wo bɛbre😮‍💨👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Unlike boxing and football, waterpolo is very new to the country so this is HISTORY being MADE...in #GHANA and what an HONOUR to be part of it!🙏🏿 Check out/follow @bspwpc for more. BLACKSTAR POLO WATER POLO CLUB
