Here's the update. Life has been a journey these past 6 months for all of our kids, families, & communities. Thank you for being a part of it. The sport is cool, but the support we've been able to provide to these communities in Ghana the real Gold medal. Link in Bio/Story to donate, or send a DM for the link. Medaase. 🙏🏿 by @awwpc

Friendly reminder #AFRICANS are the original 'AQUA-MEN', Mame Wata is real and if WE want to dominate #WATERSPORTS we will. Ghanaians can and do love to #SWIM! @bspwpc @awwpc @bosomtwewaterpolo_1 Yɛnko!!! Yɛnko!!!✊🏿🏊🏾‍♂️🇬🇭💦

This is Ghana's first #waterpolo club with their eye on the Olympics!! It is an #incredible achievement/inception and it was awesome to learn, observe and be part of the team. They called me "Woman King" when they first saw me- that's how much representation matters. That's how much a girl embodying athleticism and 'muscular prosperity' impacts young people over there too because despite all of Yaa Asantewaa's efforts, a 'shredded' female with biceps is rare🤷🏾‍♀️

Just like in J-town all these athletes, trailblazers and community REALLY INSPIRE ME. This here is a phenomenon birthed from the resilient @santeprince who literally scouted the team from the ground when he was 'home'- and has got this far against all the odds...nyame nhyira wo bɛbre😮‍💨👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Unlike boxing and football, waterpolo is very new to the country so this is HISTORY being MADE...in #GHANA and what an HONOUR to be part of it!🙏🏿 Check out/follow @bspwpc for more. BLACKSTAR POLO WATER POLO CLUB

San Diego Spotlight !!
Happy to share that one of our volunteers from our @bspwpc events in San Diego, is now in Ghana working with our teams!

Check out these cool photos of @sunraewithin meeting our Accra team, & sharing some helpful strength and conditioning exercises on land before they jump in the ocean to swim and train for the big match on Saturday.

Our community continues to grow with the bridge from Califonia to Africa expanding each day. Show some love to Arela while she's out there working with our Ghana teams, & give her a follow to support !

Exciting News! Sending a huge welcome to San Diego native @sunraewithin ! Arela is our newest volunteer from California, who is in Ghana now for 3 months to help out with our Water Polo team as well as the other sports programs at @edptrust in Awutu! With a strong background in strength and conditioning, we know that everyone around her will benefit from her wisdom. Give her a follow and show some support to our newest aquatic enthusiast!
