Read what you like but remember what you like reading is written by authors from all walks of life 💗 I promise. Here is a list I put together of some popular releases from 2026 (most I have not read admittedly) and some similar recommendations that I definitely have read and enjoyed. One day, and hopefully one day soon, I’d love to see bestseller lists contain more diversity. I’d love to see release parties, fandoms and countless posts celebrating BIPOC authors and their incredible stories. But that has to start here, by asking you to read your favorite books of course, but also give the same consideration to similar books written by diverse authors. If you have any diverse recs that fit one of these slides, please drop them below! This is limited to what I’ve read so I’d love this to be even more expanded. • #bookstagram

Country Star Ella Langley Launches Public "Boyfriend Applications" to Escape Nashville Dating Scene NASHVILLE, TN — Country music sensation Ella Langley has set off a massive wave of excitement across the music industry after declaring that she is officially opening public "boyfriend applications." Speaking on a popular country music podcast, the rising star admitted she is entirely fed up with standard Nashville dating app encounters and arrogant musicians, opting instead to let everyday fans apply directly for a chance to take her out. Langley outlined her basic criteria for potential applicants: a strong work ethic, a solid sense of humor, practical hands-on skills, and zero interest in using her fame to boost their own social media clout. "If you know how to treat a woman right, back up a trailer, and hold a real conversation without looking at your phone every two minutes, you're already qualified," she laughed during the episode. The announcement triggered an instant avalanche of responses across social media platforms. Thousands of blue-collar men, farmers, truck drivers, and country fans began uploading detailed video applications showcasing their cooking, truck-driving, and handyman skills in hopes of landing a date, turning Langley's search into an absolute viral phenomenon. #funny #comedy #fblifestyle #FORENTERTAINMENTONLY © TBC Viral Media 2026. Before his death in 1924, Vladimir Lenin dictated a political testament in which he warned about Joseph Stalin’s growing influence and recommended that he be removed from his position as General Secretary of the Communist Party. Lenin expressed concern that Stalin had accumulated too much authority, particularly through his control over party appointments and internal affairs. He also criticised Stalin’s behaviour, describing him as excessively rude and impatient when dealing with fellow party members. Lenin feared that these characteristics, combined with his increasing power, could threaten the party’s stability and lead to abuses of authority. Rather than demanding Stalin’s complete removal from political life, Lenin proposed replacing him as General Secretary with someone more patient, respectful and willing to cooperate with other senior officials. His recommendation was intended to prevent too much power from becoming concentrated in the hands of one individual. Lenin’s testament also assessed other prominent Bolsheviks, including Leon Trotsky, whom he regarded as exceptionally capable but overly confident and inclined toward administrative arrogance. His wider concern was that personal rivalries and disagreements among senior leaders could divide the Communist Party following his death. Although Lenin’s warnings were discussed within the party leadership, Stalin retained his position and eventually consolidated his control over the Soviet Union, making the testament one of the most significant documents in the history of Soviet leadership struggles. 📜🇷🇺
