That’s not how I think or feel I’m not glad they’re off the street! And people do cry that’s a horrible thing to say! Der CSD wurde daraufhin abgebrochen. „Wir fahnden mit Hochdruck nach tatverdächtigen Personen“, sagte Polizeisprecher Nath in einem veröffentlichten Video bei X. Die Polizei sei mit zahlreichen Polizisten und Rettungskräften im Einsatz. Alle Besucherinnen und Besucher wurden gebeten, den Bereich zu verlassen. Polizisten leuchteten den Bereich zwischen Potsdamer Platz und der Südseite des Tiergartentunnels aus, wie ein dpa-Reporter berichtete. Sie suchten nach Spuren. Hunderttausende Menschen feierten in der Hauptstadt den CSD. Mit ihrer Demonstration wollten die Veranstalter ein Zeichen für Demokratie, Toleranz und Vielfalt setzen. Gegen 22.00 Uhr wurde das Fest dann abrupt abgebrochen. Nach Angaben eines dpa-Reporters vor Ort wurden die Besucher auf der Ostseite des Brandenburger Tors zunächst nicht über die Lage informiert.
