I am in disbelief as to what has happened since I took a leap of faith and left California to first go empty my parents house, which then led me to Atlanta without knowing anyone. I am an awe of what God has blessed me with since.🙏 If any of you are struggling and starting over, listen to my testimony and use it as Hope. Have faith, keep praying, and showing up every day. 🥰 Florida chapter…here I come!! 🏝️🤗

LUCY has no Wi-Fi or television at home, listens to oldies radio, and usually waits until sundown to hit the studio. Somewhere between bike rides, car radio freestyles, and visions of a cuckoo clock in a rainstorm, his outsider pop songs start to take shape. On ‘CITIZEN’S ARREST,’ his self-described “folk art album,” Cooper B. Handy keeps finding something extraordinary in the everyday. We caught up with the Western Massachusetts artist to talk about his new record, what he misses about his old day job, and why his music is more sincere than people might think. Read the full interview at the link in our bio. - 📝 by @gulfside_redux 📸 (slide 1) by @temple_of_glove 📸 (slides 2, 3) by @guykozak 📸 (slide 4) by @samresetarits
Alan Cleland Jr is not a nice guy. He has a history of abuse and is at the centre of allegations involving the gang-rape of a 16-year-old girl. She was attacked during a party following the final day of the Outerknown Tahiti Pro last month. As news of his attack on the youngster came to light, his former partner published a compelling treatise of the abuse he subjected her to. Surfer Noah Lia Klapp has published an account of what she endured during her relationship with him. He would abuse her physically and sexually, call her names, demean her and prevent her from leaving. You can read the full account on her Instagram page - @noahklapp - or in the following slides. Coming back to the attack on the Australian girl. I have been told Cleland assaulted her while she was heavily intoxicated and in no state to consent. When he ended the attack, he left her alone and vulnerable. Three men - one a famous surfing photographer - are alleged to have attacked her. I will name the photographer soon. A number of women connected to the World Surf League have told me they endured similar abuses at the hands of top-ranking surfers. They were left out in the cold by the league and their attackers are still feted by fans, sponsors and their peers. Cleland has been suspended from all competition. There's been no indication of charges related to the assault on the 16-year-old or charges stemming from Cleland's domestic violence attacks. ❤️SUPPORT MY WORK❤️ You can support The RED HEART Movement and Australian Femicide Watch by grabbing a RED HEART t-shirt or making a donation! 100% of money raised funds support for bereaved families and an apartment for women leaving domestic violence.
