HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis Praises! Nivea is shedding tears of joy as she reveals that her cancer is in remission, just months after first announcing her leukemia diagnosis. As we previously shared, the Grammy-nominated R&B singer revealed her health battle during an episode of ‘Cadillac Chronicles’ in late July 2026. ___________________________________________________ The 44-year-old confirmed she had been going through cancer treatments and was feeling “very grateful for life.” While cruising the streets of her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, Nivea told CC host Brian Freeman what she’s most grateful for. She said, “Oh my lamb! Well, first of all, I was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year. And I am so grateful to God. I’ve been going through treatment and everything is going great…so far…and I expect it to continue. Amen! Amen! Amen! And I’m very grateful for life...” During the Wednesday (October 7) episode of ‘The Tamron Hall Show,’ Nivea became emotional as she updated fans about her health. ___________________________________________________ Host Tamron Hall said she wanted to point out some amazing news, noting, “Nivea’s cancer is now in remission.” As the crowd cheered with applause, Nivea burst into tears. While trying to hold them back, fanning her face and all, she eventually let the waterworks flow. Nivea thanked Hall, hugged her, and then hugged her doctor, Dr. Colin Vale. Nivea then said, “Oh my lamb. I did not wanna cry.” Responding to the engaged audience, who shouted, “God is good,” she said, “All the time.” Nivea continued, “Yes. I’m very grateful. Thank you so much. I couldn’t believe it ‘cause this happened to me, this year, only a ew months ago. And Dr. Vale—even though he explained it to me, the success rate of the dr*g—we still didn’t know and had to monitor. You know everybody’s different, how their body reacts to the medication.” ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 @tamronhallshow
