Shining Fields - Abasan Free Radio A track from the Industrial Coast Compilation “The Nightmare Continues” (2025) benefitting The Sameer Project - a donations based initiative, led by Palestinians, working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza
Footage used from
Days of Rage: The Young Palestinians (1989) - Produced by Jo Franklin-Trout for PBS. The audio interview portion of the track is also from this documentary.
Fertile Memory (1981) - Directed by Michel Khleifi
The Shadow of the West (1986) - Directed by Geoff Dunlop and Written by Edward Said. All of the footage used is pre 1st and 2nd Intifada, which in many ways does not reflect the situation in Palestine today. It is exponentially worse, that goes without saying. I believe the foundational elements of the occupation have always been the same, and Palestine and its people have been forced to adapt endlessly in response. End the occupation #industrialcoast #sameerproject #industrial
