Empty Model • Shining Fields • Blank Hellscape • Nail Club at the Crypt 8/10/2026 loud and clear. Hoping BH comes back soon, see you at the next one. by @shining_fields

New Orleans Proletarian Electronica is thrilled to announce that Austin's BLANK HELLSCAPE is coming to New Orleans on August 10. Referred to by the Austin Chronicle as "your favorite local band's favorite local band," Blank Hellscape been delivering visceral experimental noise since 2017. While Blank Hellscape has since become a mainstay of the Austin underground, through relentless touring the band has gained national recognition for the controlled chaos of their largely improvisational live sets. Chaotic fuzz and screeching feedback collide with hypnotic rhythms and poetic vocals. Blank Hellscape concludes their 24-city tour at The Crypt on August 10. Don't miss this one. It's going to be a ripper.

Local support includes Shining Fields, Empty Model, Nail Club, and DJ sets by Nonlethal Weapons alter-ego DJ Hot Goss.

UPDATE: Due to some scheduling conflicts, we've had to push NOPE back to 10:00pm and make a few tweaks to the lineup, but we're still on for June 19 at The Crypt! Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Deathrage Records presents NOPE: New Orleans Proletarian Electronica. Call it a gathering, a party, a show, a happening, a situation, a freakfest, or whatever the fuck you want. Call it a line of flight towards communal luxury. Call it a few hours of freedom. NOPE is where class consciousness meets celebration and performance meets participation. NOPE is not Netflix and NOPE is not chill—we’re sick and tired of chill. We’re bored of entertainment that pacifies and acts as emotional wallpaper. NOPE is not, and never will be, a Spotify playlist. NOPE is a giant middle finger to the algorithmic flattening of culture. NOPE is not a vibe. NOPE is about building community while platforming some of the coolest and freakiest underground music our city has to offer. NOPE is where we find each other.

NOPE 5 features live performances by Shining Fields, Fjshwjfe (FL), and Nonlethal Weapons, alongside DJ sets by Interesting Results & Notscaredtocry. See you there.
