I wanna be like Sofia one day

Bryan Cranston is mourning the death of his 'Breaking Bad' co-star RJ Mitte, who played his on-screen son Walter White Jr. for all five seasons of the hit series.

In a heartbreaking tribute, Cranston recalled meeting Mitte when he was just 14 and watching him grow into a talented actor and passionate advocate for performers with disabilities.

The pair had been texting just weeks ago and were trying to arrange lunch. 'I do know that I loved him,' Cranston wrote.

He ended his tribute with a message to his former co-star: 'I'll miss you, son.'

The overlooked jobs that keep the world moving.

Yesterday i was sitting in the back of an uber and randomly thought about how underappreciated that job can be. this person had just taken me from point A to point B, and probably spent the next few hours doing the exact same thing for dozens of other people. without that convenience, would some of us even leave the house as much as we do?

I used to think about the same thing in school when a bathroom would get destroyed by some kids “messing around.” somebody had to clean that. a mother, a father, someone who probably took pride in keeping that place clean, only for their work to be ruined for no reason.

There are so many jobs like that. firefighters who run toward emergencies most of us would run away from. vets you might not think about until your pet suddenly needs help. window cleaners hanging 20 or 30 stories above the ground just so the view from your apartment stays clean. sanitation workers, nurses, custodians, mechanics, crossing guards, transit workers, the list could go on forever.

I think we get so used to things working that we stop thinking about the people making them work. clean streets, working elevators, food showing up, safe buildings, getting home at night, all of it starts to feel automatic when it really isn’t.

And I want to make it very clear this post isn’t about saying one job matters more than another. i just wanted to show some love to the people doing work that can easily go unnoticed even though so much of our everyday life depends on it.

If you have one of those jobs, thank you. you might not always get reminded of how important what you do is, but everybody really does have a piece of this huge puzzle that keeps the world moving.
