Guy Fletcher

I’m very sad to be sharing the news that my dad, Ted Fletcher has passed away. A completely unique and inspirational talent, his many inventions in pro-audio were always ground-breaking and very often, non-conforming. Ted leaves a legacy of designs and products that live on in studios around the world - Alice consoles, Joe Meek and TFPro compressors and EQ’s and early Airsound amongst them. His passion for audio and his incredibly musical ear inspired me into the industry from an early age. His pure talent with electronics was unmatched and I will miss his ability to be able to not just fix, but often re-design every piece of broken equipment I handed him.

Loved by his family and friends, Ted was always kind, compassionate and generous, yet could be brutally frank, laughing often through adversity.

We will miss you dad.
