Our studio member @alexandraffion will be taking part in this year's @bottle_alley_art_market this weekend!
Repost- @bottlealleyartmarket
@alexandraffion is a mixed media artist living and working in St Leonards, East Sussex.
Primarily working with collage, photography and mixed media painting, she draws inspiration from the infinite patterns that fill our past and present landscapes. Using colour, texture and abstraction as a visual language to explore her own connection to the natural world, her work explores themes of connectivity, natural phenomena and our ever changing relationship with nature.
Through digital and analog processes, her work plays with different perspectives, time and reality, through composition and materiality. Shifting between otherworldly landscapes and representational forms, she invites the viewer to become immersed into the vibrant dreamscapes layered with symbolism and organic visual patterns.
She works and creates as part of the Blacklands studios. Her work is available as mixed media paintings and abstract collage on canvas, postcards, giclee prints and T-shirts.
