Russia’s finance minister attended a Group of 20 meeting in Bangkok on Thursday, his second in-person appearance at the event since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, testing how far Washington’s rapprochement with Moscow will strain ties with Europe. Anton Siluanov and Bank of Russia Deputy Governor Elizaveta Danilova were listed as Russia’s delegates at the finance ministers and central bank governors’ meetings on the sidelines of the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand. Deeply honoured to be inducted onto the 2026 Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll. To be recognised alongside so many people doing meaningful, important work in our communities is incredibly humbling. My sincere thanks to @drsenemeren for the nomination, and for your ongoing support of this work. To my ancestors and those who came before me, whose strength and sacrifice made my path possible, this belongs to you. And to the communities and patients who have trusted me with their stories: you shape everything I do. This acknowledgement strengthens my commitment to working alongside marginalised communities, advancing health equity, and dismantling the structural racism that shapes who gets care, and who doesn’t. The work continues. 🤍 #HealthEquity #AntiRacism #MulticulturalVictoria #CulturalSafety
