Rosanne Baker Thornley

RBT
HER MOTHER’S EYES

“And she thinks about all that they’ve had
She knows love moves them forwards not back
And she smiles cause she knows what they’ll have
The years, the braids, the ponytails,
pink lemonade and fairytales
And today she is a bride
and she’s six years old inside
Her Mother’s Eyes”.
