Wind power sets Theo Jansen’s Strandbeests in motion. 🌬️ Dutch artist Theo Jansen builds Strandbeests, mechanical creatures that move across the sand using wind energy. Their networks of lightweight tubes and moving joints turn a breeze into a remarkably lifelike walk. Jansen has been developing them since 1990, refining their structures through successive generations. They bring art and engineering together in a form that feels both carefully constructed and strangely alive. Watching all those legs move in rhythm, it is easy to forget that you are looking at a sculpture. Artist: @theojansen_official #art #kineticart #sculpture #strandbeest #theojansen
