Yesterday we got out to Marshfield Ledge, a big granite cliff in the middle of Vermont, and climbed The Swarm (3 pitch 5.10a). Fantastic climb complete with slab, corners, face climbing and even a quick roofy section.

When we moved back to Vermont after learning how to climb on Sierra granite, I couldn’t wait to get to Marshfield and get on some Vermont granite. It took a few years to finally get out there, but we got a beautiful day and picked a solid route for our introduction to the cliff. Can’t wait to go back and continue exploring more routes.
