Ringing in my birthday celebrating LOVE in a beautiful place. What a blessing.
Birthdays have this funny way of making us reflective. So if I may… on the anniversary of my day of birth. A quick stream of consciousness dump. As I pause, I am simply overwhelmed with feeling known and understood by the people in my life. A kind of understanding I have searched for my whole life. This constant feeling of misrepresenting myself because of my anxiety or my insecurities… it’s gone. I feel like I finally have a solid foundation under me, thanks to my life partner bringing me a peace I couldn’t have ever imagined for myself. And that peace has allowed me to get to know myself. Truly know myself. And dammit I like myself. I do. And I couldn’t have said that before. But as I age… I meet myself through the eyes of other people. The people who see light in me. Who feel warmth when I am around. Who see my soul and want to protect it. And those people have helped me fall in love with myself. So I wouldn’t change a thing about this journey. Because it all led me to these people and this feeling today. ❤️

I am so excited to announce that I verbally committed to Clemson University on a full athletic scholarship to further my academic and athletic career! 💜🧡

First, thank you to all of the college coaches who have been a part of my recruiting journey. I am so grateful for the opportunities, support, and experiences along the way.

To all of my teammates, thank you for always being there for me. I will always be grateful for all of our memories and all of our laughs.

To my very first coach, Andrea, thank you for teaching me to love gymnastics. I will always be so thankful for you!

To my family and friends, thank you for always being my biggest support system and for always showing up for me. Mom, Dad, and Finley, thank you for all of the sacrifices you have made for me and for always encouraging me to follow my dreams. I could not have done this without you. ❤️

To my All American family…thank you for making this year so special. I am so grateful for all of your love and support.

Coach Diane!! I don’t even know where to begin. Thank you for coming into my life when you did, believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and helping shape me into the gymnast and person I am today.
