Kaleigh Murrell

Cash had a great game Friday. I am endlessly proud of his character through what’s been a really difficult week with deaths in the family, and Cash playing his former school during their Homecoming. It was a week of many emotions running high. He got lots of varsity minutes in. He was hungry to show both teams who he is, in different ways. It was a night that I’m glad is over. Then, we got up Saturday morning for film at JCN from 8-9am then straight to youth NEKAA football which Fin plays, and Cash refs for. The days are long, but the years are short. I’m so proud of Cash, and the character he’s shown this week. I’m not sure enough people understand how hard it is to leave everything you’ve known, your friends, teachers, coaches, and his siblings - in order to do what he felt was best for his future, personally. It took a lot of thought, integrity, bravery, and strength. More maturity than I could’ve imagined having at his age. We sure do love many of these young Oskie men and women, many coaches and teachers, as well. And I truly miss many of them, as does he, but teenage boys and communication!🤣 I’m also so proud of the Charger he’s becoming. I’m proud of the Bear he was. Most of all, I’m proud of the man he’s becoming. I hope he always knows we are his biggest fans no matter where he is or what he chooses for his future. We will be there cheering loudly for the wins and the losses. We love you, buddy!
