I would peel oranges for you. I would warm your hands inside my pockets. I would learn how you like your tea and when you need one. I would save you the seat next to me every time. I would get out of bed to turn off the light you forgot. I would come outside to help carry your bags. I would leave the best bite on your plate. Let me love you like that. Btw, poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link. [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, victorianpoetry, quietlove, letmeloveyou, reallove, poetrycommunity]
John Rzeznik says success left him questioning whether people genuinely cared about him or simply valued what he could do for them. Looking back, he says the people who mattered most were the ones who were there before he had anything to offer. Our full conversation with John Rzeznik is available on Patreon, ad-free. Check out my Temple Gym playlist on Spotify! Use it to fuel your own workouts. A proper, ‘spit and sawdust’ gym awaited behind those giant red doors and down those famous stairs… We didn’t advertise the gym anywhere, it was almost like; if you wanted to train there you had to find it. I’ve heard stories of people standing at the top of the stairs and refusing to go down because of the noises coming out! I’ve added some songs to the playlist from what I remember we had blasting throughout the gym to fuel those Blood & Guts sessions. Check it out now, link in bio. #MrOlympia #Bodybuilding #Gym #Music #Training
