Your angel day🪽2 impossible years without your big beautiful presence here on earth.💔 I’ll never be me without you. We will never be us without you. The world will never be the same without your light. I knew the only way we could get through another milestone was to try to live big and beautiful like you lived every day that you had. Every day was a great day to be alive 🥹💛 Living life without you feels impossible but I know there’s nothing you want more than for us to keep smiling and laughing. To keep living. I hate it so much but I’m fighting to do all those things for you and for our kids. So God gave us the most beautiful 80 degree days with sunny skies in October. We made pina coladas like you always did and sent yellow balloons into the sky 💛 Two balloons were stuck together so everyone made jokes about our PDA🤪 I was the luckiest to be loved by you 🥹 We are forever yours. We miss you every single day and every single moment. We look for you everywhere. Thank you for never leaving us🥹

For me, it wasn’t about eating less. I’d already tried that. What finally made a difference was paying attention to my blood sugar. As estrogen changes during menopause, insulin sensitivity can change too. That means even when you’re eating healthy, your body may not be managing blood sugar the way it used to. I started building my meals differently. More protein, healthy fats, fiber, and foods that helped keep my blood sugar steadier. And that’s when I started noticing a difference. My energy improved. I was sleeping better. And finally, the scale started moving. I lost 26 pounds and have kept it off. It’s a big part of what I teach inside my 5 Day Midlife Reset because I know how frustrating it is to feel like you’re doing everything right and still not seeing results. For 5 days, I give you a simple plan so you know what to eat, how much to eat, when to eat, and how to put your meals together. Women who’ve completed the Reset have reported less bloating, fewer cravings, better energy, and typically 2 to 10 pounds off the scale in those 5 days. Results vary. If what used to work isn’t working anymore, this is where I’d start. 💙 Comment RESET and I’ll send you the information on the plan. Follow @menopause.nurse so I can send it directly. Check your message requests if you don’t see it.
