After my target fish had been caught I decided to take a few weeks off before making a return. In this day and age going on a water in high summer can always be a risk especially if it suffers from poor water quality, low oxygen and algae blooms like this lake did last year. To my surprise as I walked upto the waters edge, I could see that all the advice I’d given the fishery had paid off a lot quicker than even I had actually thought it might and I was met with gin clear water and towering weed which was quite the opposite to what it had been like in July 2024. It was game on for my kind of fishing. To say I was buzzing would be an understatement #carpologymagazine #totalcarpmagazine #cypography #livingthedream #inpursuitofthelargest #csg.
