@summerhhowell had never read Carrie when she auditioned for the title role in Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of the Stephen King classic, and she still beat out more than 1,400 other people for the part. In the @primevideo series, her Carrie White is a curious but sheltered teenager raised in seclusion by her mother. Off screen, the 22-year-old’s world is more journals and tarot cards, and less lighting her school on fire with her mind. At the link in bio, she tells us how she knows it’s time to leave a party, what she’d never get rid of, and who she last met. Photography by @taryn._ #carrie #summerhowell

Sumber : NTV news #gazaupdate #dpr #palestina #indonesia #mui

In 44 days my life is going to change forever. And I need advice. This November I’ll be having a below knee amputation of my left leg. And I’m terrified. Like many people I don’t do well with unknowns, and the number of unknowns that come with this surgery are endless. While I have a bit of practical knowledge around the surgery and the rehab timeline, there are many things I have very little knowledge on and other things I’m sure I haven’t thought of to even ask. So to any amputee who is willing to share, I have a few questions: If you had 44 days to prepare for your amputation, what would you do? What would you make sure you had ready? At home or for your hospital stay? If you knew you had 44 days before losing a limb, what support systems would you put in place before hand? Many people say “Let me know if you need anything!” and I know they mean it, but I have no idea what I’ll need or what to ask for. And in the thick of it after the amputation, I’ll be in survival mode just trying to get used to my new life, so I won’t be thinking of how to tell people how they can be helpful. So if you knew you had 44 days, what would you do? - #circus #aerialist #cancersurvivor #cancer #amputee
