Now that I’ve had some time to reflect, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their words of encouragement and congratulations. It truly means the world to me. I wouldn’t be where I am without the wonderful people around me that I call family.

I want to thank @karambaphx for hosting an amazing event kicking off our first preliminary of the season. Karambas has always felt like home to me, and I’ve always said that Miss Karambas was the title I wanted to win when I competed!

I would like to thank @sandraxtasy for her invaluable guidance throughout this whole process and for all the help she provided in preparing me for this moment. I couldn’t have done it without you. I shared my crazy ideas with you, and you made them work. I am extremely grateful to have you in my life, both as a friend and as a mentor. Thank you for everything!

I also want to thank @mrgeojohnson for being my dresser and for always ensuring that I remained calm throughout the entire experience. If anything were to happen, I knew you had the answers. Thank you for making sure I was well put together and that my hair was just right.

To @k_dallas_c, thank you for taking a chance on me and creating a beautiful talent number that I loved so much. Your belief in me helped me prepare, and you made sure my performance package was organized and ready to go.

A special thanks to my haus for always believing in me and providing encouragement, even when I didn’t believe in myself. You all push me to strive for greatness, and I hope to never let you down.

Finally, I want to thank @jrcastro6 for sharing your experience to prepare me, as well as sponsoring my hair and ensuring I had everything I needed. This journey has not been easy; I had never competed before, but I always promised myself that when I did, I would be fully prepared. Being ready came easily thanks to the strength of my team by my side.
