As someone who loves the ocean and often uses this space to speak up for its protection, I think it’s equally important to speak up about the safety of those who share it with us 🀍 Something I’ve been thinking about throughout all of this is how it can be so difficult for women to come forward, especially in small communities, unfamiliar countries, or situations involving people in positions of trust and influence. And I think what we’re seeing with so many women sharing their experiences is that speaking up isn’t always just about seeking justice for themselves. Sometimes it’s about protecting the next person, supporting someone else’s story, or making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen again. I was recently part of a conversation about these issues, a guy curiously asked why not more women report incidents when they happen There are so many reasons someone might not feel safe reporting an experience when it happens. Fear, uncertainty, shame, possible repercussions, or simply not knowing where to turn. That’s why accessible support systems, clear reporting procedures and accountability are SOOO important. I hope these conversations lead to meaningful changes within the ocean community, and that we continue creating spaces where people feel safe, both in the water and out of it. I’ve shared some resources in the comments for anyone who might need them. 🀍 And I'll share my experience with two of these alleged men in the next video. #oceancommunity #womensupportwomen #womensupportingwomen #freedivingcommunity
You don’t always have epic mountains and city scapes to shoot in, so what happens when you have to photograph a running campaign in a field? This is the last video in this series where professional photographer @philhillstudio shares his secrets on how to take better photos of runners and athletes. Shout out @pickledjhon for modelling / hobbling through this one πŸ˜… Thanks for the suggestion David. #photographytips #sportsphotography
POV: You became the girl who actually did everything she said she was going to do. πŸ₯Ήβœ¨πŸ“– I woke up one day after a setback and decided my story wasn’t going to end there. I picked myself back up, revisited the dreams in my manifestation notebook, and started turning them into reality. I can honestly say this has been a life-changing year so far! πŸ’•βœ¨ I’ve accomplished things I once only dreamed of, met so many amazing people, and built a HUGE following in such a short period of time. I’ve created new opportunities for myself, stepped outside my comfort zone, and grown in ways I never imagined. And the best part? I’m only getting started! πŸ₯ΉπŸ’— Along the way, I’ve learned that not everything in life is meant for you, and sometimes people won’t be part of every chapter of your journey. And that’s okay! Life is about growing, evolving, and embracing the person you’re becoming. 🀍 With Q4 here, I still have so many BIG dreams I want to accomplish before the year ends. Everything I wrote down, prayed for, and worked toward is slowly coming together, and I’m beyond grateful for how far I’ve come. πŸ™πŸ½ This is your reminder to believe in yourself, trust God’s timing, and never give up on the vision you have for your life. I’m finishing this year stronger, more focused, and more determined than ever. This is only the beginning! 🎬 πŸ“Έ: @foreverviewphotography thank you for WORKING with me. We will definitely do this again. This Q4 is personal❀️. #manifest #dreamsdocometrue #fyp #modeling #photography
