Proof of life… having a short holiday weekend away visiting my family in Alaska. A long overdue visit. I had to get here before the winter and to catch the Alaska State Fair.

Obviously I go to the fair for the food! There are so many good snacks here — fried peaches, corn fritters, crab cakes, funnel cakes, pickled lemonade, and much more!
