Welcome by: Sabine Schneider
Introduction : Jan Maruhn/Kunsthistoriker
Curating/concept: Sabine Schneider, Bernadette Schroeger und Martin Wellmer
26 artists are in dialog with Works from the galerie Archive.
I choosed a sculpture in the archiv of the Kunstverein and it turned out that no one knows who‘s work it is. And all recherche about that piece went nowhere. So i started a kind of inner dialog with an unknown artist and did create an installation like a setting in nature where we meet and talk. As the sculpture is out if metal i wanted a counterpart. Flexible and still strong. As i work already since more then 6 years with pieces out of nature i also did this here. I only use found pieces.
By the way- one of the branches is 4 meter long and i had to transport it by walking through the city to the gallery 45 minutes.
