Check out our new raised house! Well, the bottom of it anyway. This space isn’t insurable and is classified as garage and storage space. Our plan is to have a nice porch to hang out, some space for the kids to be loud when I need to sleep (upstairs) and a place that husband and I can use for work outs or whatever. We still have a long way to go, but it’s feeling more real #reno #houseraising #welcome #myhouse #construction

An outdoor kitchen would be nice. That way the kiddos can get snacks and water down there. Maybe a filtered water fountain or water bottle filler.

There are a few houses like that in my neighbourhood. When it floods (rarely) they can pressure wash the walls and floors in the downstairs area. One of the houses has marine carpet @dr.beachgem10 if you're looking for ideas 😊

Can you insert a fireman’s pole to get down from main house to basement???? That’d be funnier than stairs lol
