WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IRON IN PREGNANCY 🩸🤍 Comment “IRON” and I’ll send you a couple of my favourite iron-rich recipes to help you get more iron into your meals 💬 Iron supports oxygen transport, your baby’s development and the extra red blood cells your body produces during pregnancy. It’s something I’ve experienced deficiency in myself, so I wanted to share the science. Beans, lentils and fortified cereals all provide iron. Pair plant sources with vitamin C-rich foods to help absorption: lentils with peppers, chickpeas with tomatoes or fortified cereal with berries 🍓 Tea and coffee can reduce iron absorption, so try to have them between meals rather than alongside iron-rich foods. If you’ve been diagnosed with iron deficiency anaemia, dietary changes alone are usually insufficient to correct it. Iron supplements may be needed, with your maternity team guiding treatment and checking your response. 🫶 Pregnancy places significant demands on your body and getting the right support matters 🤍 remember taking your supplements every other day is more beneficial! #IronDeficiency #PregnancyNutrition #Rhitrition
WHAT IF AN ICONIC MOMENT CAME FULL CIRCLE? In 2010, @chico_lachowski stood in front of the camera with Vanity Teen written across his chest. Sixteen years later, the words return, the camera rolls again, and a whole lot has changed. Part editorial, part behind the scenes, this is a glimpse into the making of our new cover and a tribute to a moment that never really left us. Same icon. Different chapter. The story continues. THE ICON COMES HOME. Francisco Lachowski for Vanity Teen. The funny part? Some people are so busy trying to put Kanika down that they forget she’s not the one to mess with anymore! 😏🔥 Keep poking, keep picking fights, but don’t expect her to sit back and take it. Kanika 2.0 gives it back, with facts, class and that unapologetic attitude we LOVE! And the way she shut him down without losing her grace? KUDOS, QUEEN! 💅🏻 Keep poking, and our #HaryanviSherni keeps proving why she’s not the one to mess with. ✨🧿🔱 Nightwear : @thelazy_boo #kanikamann #teamkanikamann #haryanakimann #biggboss20
The Toronto launch of Sidhu Moose Wala's ‘Signed to God Hologram World Tour’ featured his younger brother, two-year-old Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, recreating the late singer's iconic thaapi gesture, with his parents present. The said show, which was held at Scotiabank Arena recently, one saw the two-year-old fondly known as Chhota Sidhu, who won everyone’s hearts and attention with his cute recreation of Moose Wala’s signature ‘thaapi’, a news report in India Today stated. It also mentioned that, the aforementioned tour used 3D holograms and archival visuals to celebrate Moose Wala, who was assassinated in 2022 amid gang conflicts.
