This evening, I saw a live performance of Alice and Wonderland at Knowle Park in Cranleigh. The evening is beautiful, the sun has melted the clouds away and we can revel in some late summer sunshine and warmth. Thank you to Lucy, Hannah, and their team at @knowleparktrust, and of course the cast of the play, for putting on a wonderful event! I love Alice in Wonderland, and this play was a wonderful evening out.

The Surrey countryside is beautiful, and it is one of my favourite parts of England. Knowle Park reminds me, in part, of the 100 acre wood. I can imagine Christopher Robin coming here to start his adventures. Down the path will be Winnie the Pooh and Piglet resting against an old oak tree with an empty honey pot.

Knowle Park was kindly donated to the community by a local man, and a team of volunteers look after it. Here you can wonder around and soak in the nature, or watch an outdoor play like I have this evening! The play was absolutely wonderful, the cast and organisers did a wonderful job.
