Going to miss you Ciara. I can’t even begin to describe the positive impact you left on all of our lives.

Book store date?

I got to spend most of my early childhood living in this house through many springs, summers, and falls with just my grandparents 🏡 I got to run around this same yard, rummage through grandma’s kitchen gadgets, watch tv in the evenings just us three, and have a childhood I wouldn’t trade for the world.

This past summer, once the rest of the family went back to the city and across the ocean, I got to spend a few extra days alone with them. It hadn’t been just the three of us since I was 6 years old. Little Aliuța got to come out and play, lay in the grass, pick apples, eat ALL of buni’s delicious ciroba and papanași, and feel grateful for the childhood my dear grandparents created for me 💌
