🌍🇨🇴 From Kyoto to Osaka to Zipaquirá: proud to see Colombia at the World Expo 2025.
A few weeks ago, it was an honor to step into the Colombian pavilion at the World Expo Osaka 2025 @colombiaexpo @expo_osaka . The Expo is always a spectacle in itself, but this time it was deeply moving to see Gabriel García Márquez’s butterflies floating across the pavilion’s sky—and especially to watch Japanese children touching and feeling Zipaquirá salt, the same salt from the spectacular Salt Cathedral in the small town where I was born.
None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary work of ProColombia and the Embassy of Colombia in Japan, showcasing the best of our country to the world.
A special thanks to Juan Gómez Alvarado, Commercial Counsellor and Director @procolombiaco in Japan, for facilitating my visit and inspiring conversations with Ambassador Gustavo Makanaky.
And of course, gratitude to @luminarium.io and @carocastillav , whose IVS Kyoto 2025 tour made this encounter possible.
Colombia not only exports coffee—it also builds resilience, talent, culture, and sensations carved in magic salt.
