Have you ever realized you’re in love with an idea of someone, more than the person themselves? 👀

That’s what Concept of Her is about—my exploration of how I imagine people I meet, only to be deceived by my own projections. In this reel, I talk with a friend over the phone, we drift through images of a girl, and it ends with me in that imagined rainy Friday afternoon, mid-September, leaves falling, where I fall into her arms and convince myself it’s real. The truth is, I don’t even know her—I’m just infatuating, projecting, creating a story in my head.

This is one of my favorite projects. Every time I rewatch it, it throws me back into the exact state of mind I was in when I wrote it, and I want to live in that moment again and again.
