Do you ever feel like love and time are always pulling you in two different directions? 💫

That’s why I wrote Saturn and Mars.

Do you ever feel like pain is just the toll life makes us pay to live absolutely? 🪞

I filmed this as a reminder — pain isn’t punishment, it’s the cost of showing up fully alive.

Have you ever realized you’re in love with an idea of someone, more than the person themselves? 👀

That’s what Concept of Her is about—my exploration of how I imagine people I meet, only to be deceived by my own projections. In this reel, I talk with a friend over the phone, we drift through images of a girl, and it ends with me in that imagined rainy Friday afternoon, mid-September, leaves falling, where I fall into her arms and convince myself it’s real. The truth is, I don’t even know her—I’m just infatuating, projecting, creating a story in my head.

This is one of my favorite projects. Every time I rewatch it, it throws me back into the exact state of mind I was in when I wrote it, and I want to live in that moment again and again.

A huge thank you to @kevin_nallathamby @victo_1919 and @dan.folea for helping me bring this project to life.

What does it mean to wake up into a dream of a hundred years? 🌙

I wrote this poem, thinking of a little girl lost in the big world — spinning around the sun, laughing and searching for light in the silence.

It’s a dream carried through words and images, and brought to life by @itsnhuyyy . Thank you for lending your beautiful innocence to this piece — it wouldn’t be the same without you 🫶🏻 by @byioane

$I’ve been reflecting on femininity — on muses, on how beauty inspires, and how entire histories were moved by it. Wars were fought for queens, poems were born from glances, and men have carried those mysteries for centuries. I can’t thank @carleemacinnis enough for embodying this vision. Her presence gave weight and grace to the words, and turned them into something that breathes beyond the page. . . . #cinematicstory #visualpoetry #poeticcinema #femininity #muses #storythroughimages #artfilm #indiefilmmaker #visualnarrative #montrealartist #fractionalmedia by @byioane$

Wars were fought for queens.
Poems were written for muses.
What mystery still lives in the eyes we meet today?

What is it in a woman’s gaze that can carry centuries of stories?

$This is one of my favorite projects so far. It grew out of months of reading, reflecting, and distilling thoughts about how words never quite capture life. They circle around it, but they can’t contain it. We come into this world with music playing. Then it stops. And just as we begin to learn how to dance to it, silence reminds us how fragile it all is. Maybe what matters most is listening a little longer, feeling the rhythm while it’s still here. I can’t thank Ioana & Themi enough for helping me bring this vision to life. Your presence shaped the story more than words ever could. . . . #cinematicstory #visualpoetry #narrativethroughfilm #cinematicvisuals #lifeinframes #artfilm #poeticcinema #indiefilmmaker #storythroughimages #montrealartist #fractionalmedia by @byioane$

Words will never be enough..

They circle around life, but they can’t contain it.
Maybe silence, maybe music, says more than language ever will.

Life is a song we don’t get to choose.

It plays, it stops, and somewhere in between we learn to dance. So listen closer, while the music’s still here…
