Original MUCHO artwork by Ricky Garay
This is a firme piece of Latin Indie L.A. music history.
Sadly still feels fitting 14 years later.
No one is free, until we are all free.
Mucho always produced some mega line ups for our
shows, Garay created this artwork specifically for this special triple bill at the Echoplex in honor of Mexican
Independence day back in 2011.
The event featured Las Cafeteras, La Chamba, and Chicano Son, with DJ support by the Mucho Djs, Frank Leopold, Lu Lu and Ricky Guapo.
We dusted off this beauty because a few of the musicians from the show wanted posters for their collections, so
here they are.
We are going to be sharing a lot more artwork in the coming weeks, and we will be making archival quality large poster prints available for anyone who is interested.
Any artists that performed at any of these shows qualify for a serious artist discount if they would like a copy for themselves.
La Musica y la Arte es Cultura, Mucho wasn't just a party, it was a movement, and we've got the photos, film, and art to show for it.
