As we move into our next chapter, we find ourselves evolving. What began as a single practice is growing.
We are now introducing Studio Based Upon, a team of surface specialists and master fabricators with over two decades of experience gained by envisioning, designing, crafting and manufacturing in Based Upon’s pioneering workshop.
Studio Based Upon offers the A&D community an adaptable and encompassing service from concept development, through detailed design and engineering, and into final fabrication. We invite you to explore, configure and create from our vast archive of textures, surfaces and ideas.
Based Upon remains an artist and creator. A space where philosophy is explored as pure form, and material is treated as elemental truth.
Studio Based Upon is its counterpart: a playground for visionaries, shaped by decades of experience, experimentation and innovation, harnessing all that we have learned.
