“Fresh Out The Slammer” plays with prison imagery to describe the feeling of being trapped in a relationship and then suddenly free, almost like walking out of confinement. Taylor uses the “slammer” metaphor as a way of expressing emotional captivity — being stuck in something that felt restrictive, toxic, or draining.

I ordered a $600 Songmont woven bag anonymously to see if it’s worth the price.

What I found surprised me.

Estimated production cost is about $180 and the retail price is $600. That’s roughly a 3.3x multiplier, well under what most leather brands charge.

Would you buy this at $600?

Paid partnership with @songmont_official. I bought it as a regular customer, and opinions are my own.
