How you make people FEEL is everything!
Our ZYIA founders, @erinbradley26 and @jerbradley invited us to their beautiful home/ranch in Utah to hear horse trainer, ranch owner and renowned speaker, @grantgolliher from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Grant has dedicated his life to working with troubled horses thru trust, kindness and understanding. His words hit home & I think I’m forever changed as a wife, mama, business owner and even as a pet owner. It was incredible watching him train a young colt right in front of our eyes… watching the colt’s fear turn to love & trust in a very short period of time.
I’ve reflected so much since getting home yesterday & it’s very clear to me that so much of the success I’ve found in this space is because I am SURROUNDED by people who make me feel seen & heard. I’m working with the DOers - people who don’t just talk, but DO. I’m walking with people who not only want to make their mark, but help others to do the same.
Our founders, Jeremiah, Erin, @and_boom_goes_the_dynamite and @breivetcor have never waivered. Thru the freaking HARD, they showed up and they continue to show up for us day after day. They are legit doing the work WITH us every day.
My sponsor, @meganbadding gets it. She gets us. Her compassion for her people is so inspiring. I NEVER have to ask if she’s in or out bc her actions every damn day speak loud & clear. Her vision is fierce & if you’re in her boat, you’re not only safe & loved but you are going to get there.
My husband, Chris has never stopped believing in me. Although my background is in education, he loves that I’m not necessarily doing the norm, but that I’m doing what I love. He shows up for me in so many ways & dreams the crazy dreams w/ me.
My teammates and ZYIA community who ‘get it’! You wake up, do the things, push past fear & inspire so many, including me. Your words and hugs this weekend are immeasurable. I’m home here.
