They’re baaack! If you told me this little village in Denmark put on one of the best DIY Halloweens I’ve ever seen, I’m not sure I would’ve believed you 🎃 The story of @halloween_on_benediktevej is the very core of what the Halloween “spirit” is to me. In 2018, 8 houses / neighbors got together and decided to DIY Halloween and it’s gotten so massive they now get thousands of visitors every year! I love following along on their Facebook to see what they’re building, and a lot of the community gets involved. It’s purely donation based, no theme is the same, and the production value is amazing. They’re back in Slangerup, Denmark (Friday 30 and Saturday 31). 16:00-18:00 is kid friendly. 18:00-21:00 is not so friendly. 👻 Thank you for those of you that know my love of Halloween and tipped me off to this amazing place. Are there other spots in Denmark that do a great DIY Halloween? I love how creative everyone gets 🤍 ~~~ 👋 Hej I’m Brooke, an American adjusting to life in Denmark.
