tender and sweet my life is tart with moments of surprise and juicy with embraces of ease

my hair faded and i redyed it recently
before it turned red, chelle told me i looked a strawberry about to be rotten
so ripe it just didn’t know what to do
lately i feel life ooze with joy and wonder and childlike play
i feel lucky to experience hardship and pain, and with that, change and growth and excitement!
i look forward to seeing my friends and finding new moments to share
i wake up often tired but i’m still too happy to care
i love the way i live
with a raw intensity and a passion for more
some find me intense
and i don’t blame them for it
but i hope through this poem that you can see im just a little guy that’s all for it
