Today, The Light For Days turns one year old!! A scruffy, gentle animal. Eleven songs crafted in four days in the midst of the Djesse World Tour. Over the course of my travels, I set about filming performance videos for each song - from rainforests to gondolas, temples to hot air balloons, streetsides to jungles - with my little 5-string guitar and a trusty lav mic. My partner in crime was my friend @andre_tentugal , who captured everything with such magic and care, during some of the wildest travel days we’ve ever had. It was a vivid and unforgettable time. I’m writing this from backstage in San Francisco on the Light For Days Tour, reflecting on it and feeling so grateful to all of you who have welcomed these songs into your worlds and made them your own in all the ways. It’s been wonderful to see some of you at these intimate shows the last few weeks. Nine more shows to go, and then…………a new chapter begins. 💡 1. Gondola in Venice, Italy 2. Tijuca National Park, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 3. Jardin des Tuileries, Paris, France 4. Globemakers, London, UK 5. St Peter’s Church, Riga, Latvia 6. Streets of Venice, Italy 7. Ann Arbor, Michigan, US 8. St. Peter’s Tower, Riga, Latvia 9. Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, US 10. Globemakers, London, UK 11. The inside of my 5-string guitar, as captured by @charlescellist
