✨🌙OF MOTHS AND STONE RELEASE DAY!!!🌙✨ As someone who alpha and beta read this book, something magical happened when I witnessed all of my fellow readers fall in love with this masterpiece. As the ARC reviews rolled in, I met others who also feel this story in their souls. It’s a gorgeously lush, vivid, epic, noble dark fantasy romance that deserves all of the accolades it has already received as well as countless more. I am begging you to read this. Congratulations to @author_k.r.fryatt for such an incredible accomplishment and for touching so many lives with your words and your spirit. I am unbelievably proud of you and all that you have created. OH AND P.S. I did a lot of the interior artwork for this book (title page, chapter headers, page breaks, and realm emblems hehehe) so BUY A COPY AND SEE ALL THE PRETTY PICTURES I DREW!!

Broccoli Cheddar Chicken Pot Pie with puff pastry crust 🥦🧀Day 5 of 6 in our 11th annual Sally’s Pie Week #sallyspieweek Comment SEND and we’ll dm you the full recipe with instructions, notes, storage, make-ahead and freezing tips, plus 50+ pie recipes from all 10 years of Sally’s Pie Week. It’s all linked in my bio now, too @sallysbakeblog -4 Tbsp (56g) unsalted butter -¾ cup (98g) diced yellow or sweet onions -1½ cups (195g) diced carrots -4 garlic cloves, minced -1 1/4 tsp salt -1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper -⅛ tsp ground nutmeg -½ cup (62g) all-purpose flour -1½ cups (360g/ml) chicken broth -1½ cups (360g/ml) whole milk -8 oz (226g) sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded -1 lb (454g) cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces -12-16 oz (340-454g) broccoli florets, cut small -1–1.5 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed but still cold (about 245–368g) -egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 Tbsp milk) 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). 2. In a large cast-iron braiser or skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onions and carrots and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. 3. Add the flour, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, and stir until the flour coats the veggies and no dry flour remains. In a slow and steady stream, pour in the chicken broth and then the milk. Whisk until no flour lumps remain, then simmer over medium-low heat until thick, about 10 mins. 4. Turn off heat. Stir in the cheese, chicken, and broccoli. If your pan is not oven-safe, transfer the filling to a lightly greased casserole dish. 5. Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet(s). With a lightly floured rolling pin, lightly roll the puff pastry into a square or rectangle that’s around 1/8-inch thick. Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut into squares or rectangles about 2.5–3 inches in size. Arrange the puff pastry pieces, overlapping, on top of the filling. Brush with egg wash. 6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the puff pastry is deeply golden and puffed. 7. Cool10 minutes before serving. https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/broccoli-cheddar-chicken-pot-pie/
Four demands from Trump voters who abandoned Republicans in the midterms, and Vice President JD Vance says they explain why the GOP lost. In a lengthy post on X, Vance reveals that a pollster asked former Trump supporters what it would take to win them back. Their top answers: End the war, tackle inflation and the cost of living, put America First, and change the U.S. relationship with Israel. Vance says Republicans were seeing encouraging turnout numbers heading into Election Day, but the warning signs were already there. Despite the losses, Vance says he remains hopeful, urging frustrated voters to channel their anger into electing Republicans who share their priorities.
