“Can she see the threads of our history tangled up and wrapped tightly around us both? Can she see the one that feels like a leash perpetually pulled around my neck on a lead held by Lily f*cking LaBlanc?”

@peytoncorinneauthor does it again 😩😭

I absolutely adored Toren and Lily’s story. So many years of hurt and pain and grief. So beautifully done once again 😭 forever one of my favorite emotionally damaging series and I’m so sad this is the last one.

If you love emotionally damaging romance and men who yearnnnn go run and read this series!!!

My Rafe baby 😍

He finally made it across the Pacific Ocean to me after being completely surprised at the fact that I received this character arc from one of my all time favorite series 🥹 when my mom texted me that a book showed up at her house in a purple box I about lost my mind.

I am obsessed with the Avalon University series and am foaming at the mouth for Deception & Desires 🙂‍↕️ this series is the perfect dark academia read for the BER months 🙌🏼

Thank you so much to the @r0seandstar team for this gifted ARC. I shall cherish it foreverrrr 🥹🫶🏻 by @bookswithdestinee

“Honestly, I’m fucking feral for this woman. Maybe even obsessed, and probably, most definitely, falling completely head over heels in love with her.”

@danycrooksauthor went and made me fall in love with a blonde MMC and now I’m obsessed with West 😫

I have been in such a reading slump lately but THIS WAS SO FUN. The perfect September hot spicy romcom read with:
🎤 90s/2000s sitcom vibes (but make it hot)
📱Dual POV
🎤 Black Cat x Golden Retriever
📱Fake Dating
🎤 Found Family
📱Ex Hockey Player turned Stand-Up Comedian MMC
🎤 Bi (and masked) FMC
📱One-Night Stand turned Lovers
🎤 “Workplace” Romance
📱BANTER

And now I will forever be obsessed with this book and wish I could erase my brain and read it all over again. But so excited for the next book in this duet 🤭

A book series that still lives in my head rent free 😫 (not pictured The Ascended but very much part of the rent free living).

The things I would do to erase my memory and read these books again for the first time again to experience the ending of The Ascended again. And if you haven’t read these yet PLEASEEE I BEG read them in publication order I will ☠️ on that hill.

What’s a series that lives rent free in your brain?

“And if there’s one thing the temple had taught him, it was how to obey.” 🙂‍↕️🙌🏼

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! This was exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump. I am obsessed.

Both had cool af powers rooted in lies/truth. Both had secrets they were keeping. She is a confident/stabby/badass hot af dom mommy and he is virgin MMC who gave himself to the gods but is also a hot af bi king.

Enemies to reluctant allies to 👀??? With delicious tension that had me screaming JUST F*CKING KISS ALREADY. And of course a cliffhanger that had me wanting to chuck my kindle across the room.

But HELLO??? This cover? STUNNING I need 14 copies. And now I will cry as I wait for book two 😭 PLS GO READ THIS!!!

Thank you @dellromance and @thekatedylan for this advanced copy 💖 by @bookswithdestinee
