![[LINK IN BIO] 2026 TCS New York City Marathon: Route Map and the best places to watch 🏃♂️
This really puts the 26.2 miles, 5 boroughs, and countless leg cramps into perspective 🥵 Whether you're tracking a runner or just looking to have fun on November 1st, here are the top places to cheer for marathoners across the city:
📍Fourth Ave, Brooklyn (Miles 2–4): The energy hits IMMEDIATELY as runners come off the Verrazzano Bridge!
📍 Williamsburg & Greenpoint (Miles 10–13): There are high-energy vibes & neighborhood street parties right before the halfway mark.
📍 First Ave, Upper East Side (Miles 16–18): This is where you can hear the famous "wall of sound" when runners enter Manhattan.
📍 Mott Haven, The Bronx (Miles 20–21): This is a crucial turn where runners need the biggest push.
📍 Fifth Ave / Museum Mile (Miles 23–24): There's a massive uphill stretch before the runners enter Central Park.
📍 Central Park South (Miles 25–26.2): The legendary finish line push 🥇
PRO TIP: Cell service drops in big crowds along 1st Ave and Central Park! Screenshot your runner’s wave times and mile splits BEFORE you leave home.
