Tired Girl Dinners, Episode 16 🫶🏻 FRENCH DIP BEEF & ONION CIABATTAS 🤎 Tender slow-cooked beef, melted mozzarella and crispy ciabatta with rich gravy for dipping! Lovelies this is one of those meals that feels fancy but is SO easy, and perfect for a cosy night in 🍂 📌 Don’t forget to SAVE it for when you need some easy comfort food 🥰 📍 Serves 3 📍 655 Calories and 45g of Protein per portion 400g beef stewing steak 1 large onion, sliced 40g gravy granules mixed with 500ml boiling water 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 large ciabatta loaf 80g grated mozzarella Season the beef generously with salt and pepper, spray with cooking spray, then sear on each side in a super hot pan until browned. Add to the slow cooker, then add the onion to the same pan along with a little more cooking spray. Allow to soften for a couple of minutes then add into the slow cooker with the Worcestershire sauce, garlic granules, bay leaves, dried thyme, and gravy granules mixed with boiling water. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6, until the beef is super tender. Remove the beef, and shred with two forks, reserving some gravy for dipping. Mix the beef back into the remaining gravy and onions. Halve the ciabatta lengthways, pop into the oven at 180c for 5 minute to toast until slightly golden. Sprinkle mozzarella over both halves, then pile the beef onto the bottom half. Close the sandwich and bake at 180°C fan for 5 minutes until melted. Slice into 2 and serve with the gravy! And enjoy 🥰 #easyrecipes #frenchdipsandwich #slowcookerrecipes #highprotein #lowcaloriemeals
