@SimuLiu and @Allison Hsu first met in 2022 at a mutual friend’s Fourth of July barbecue. The two hit it off, and after nearly three years of dating, Simu proposed on May 10, 2025, on the rooftop of the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, where he surprised his bride-to-be by flying in her closest friends and family for the occasion. The couple returned to France for their wedding celebrations, tying the knot at Chateâu d’Estoublon. Showers had come and gone throughout the afternoon, but as soon as the bride appeared at the top of the aisle, the rain stopped dramatically, making way for a mostly dry ceremony. “I couldn’t stop thinking about how perfect everything was,” Simu recalls.
