An old red carpet photo can bring back an entire era. 💔

Hollywood has seen countless romances come and go, but certain couples remain unforgettable. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie became one of the most talked-about pairs in entertainment, while Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart captured the attention of an entire generation.

Then there were Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively, and Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp, each leaving their own mark on celebrity culture.

Years later, a familiar photograph or forgotten interview can still bring back the excitement of those days. Sometimes, what people miss isn’t just the relationship itself, but the moment in their lives that came with it.

The love stories may be over, but the nostalgia has a way of staying.

Oxygen’s new Crawley park takes competitive kids seriously. Even the floor is a game.

We had a preview of the newest Oxygen Activeplay, with racing slides, interactive challenges and plenty of jumping. Quite useful for children who apparently have “nothing to do”.

Inside you’ll find:

⭐️ An interactive floor where your feet control the game.
⭐️ Trampolines and a giant airbag.
⭐️ Two slides for racing friends.
⭐️ An interactive sports pitch.
⭐️ Strike Zone and interactive reaction games.
⭐️ Separate soft play for ages 0–5.

The competitive games were a highlight, and the food was good too. One to save for indoor family fun or burning off half-term energy.

Before you go:

⭐️ Opens 16 October 2026.
⭐️ Open Play: ages 4+, £15.95pp for 60 mins.
⭐️ Toddler Play and quieter SEN Peaceful Play sessions available.
⭐️ Café and viewing areas.
⭐️ Free parking for up to five hours.
⭐️ Unit 3D, Crawley Leisure Park, London Road, RH10 8LR.
⭐️ Book online, complete your waiver and arrive 20 minutes before your session.

Save the details and send this to whoever you’d meet there. The kids can settle who’s fastest.

🕯️⛪ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Laudate Dominum, from the Vesperae solennes de confessore, K. 339
Aksel Rykkvin – boy soprano voice 🎤
Oslo Domkor and IRIS kammerorkester – Vivianne Sydnes
•
The name de confessore, which appears in the title of these vespers, was added to the score later, by another hand, and the saint it refers to may never have existed. Mozart composed the work in 1780 for the cathedral of Salzburg, where he was court organist to Archbishop Colloredo. Mozart had come back from Paris to take the post, and his dissatisfaction with Salzburg went on without easing. In the fifth movement, the Laudate Dominum, he gave the soprano a much simpler solo: the one in the vespers of the year before was florid. It is this movement that is often sung on its own, apart from the whole work. The following year, Mozart broke with the archbishop and was dismissed.
•
Listen again and notice what happens after the camera closes in on the singer's face, with a blurred candle beside it: the sound, which had been strong, fades gradually over several seconds, until it is very faint, and only then does the voice rise in volume again.
•
Aksel Rykkvin was born in Oslo and, before this night, had recorded his first album, in London, with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, funded by a crowdfunding campaign. According to the video description, the performance brought together the Oslo Domkor, the choir of Oslo Cathedral, and the IRIS kammerorkester, conducted by Vivianne Sydnes, at one of the free Christmas concerts at the cathedral, in December 2016. Right after the camera passes over the orchestra's musicians, it pulls back and Aksel appears in the distance, standing, with his hands at his sides, in front of the altar and the stained-glass window.
