You think you know Bandra until you walk it.
From forts to faith, every turn had a story, every wall a whisper. We went for a history walk ‘Bandra Past and Present’.
We are grateful for mornings like these that make you look closer and slower at the city you thought you knew. 🌿

It was amazing to be at the history walks with Alisha Sadikot (@alishasadikot), whose passion for the city makes you fall in love with Mumbai all over again. Wish we had teachers like you, Alisha, while we were growing up. 🙌

Next time you get a chance to go on this walk, don’t miss it. 🚶‍♂️✨

Alisha Sadikot is the founder of The Inheritage Project, a heritage education initiative, and has been conducting these Bandra walks to weave together stories of architecture, art, community and change.
She holds a Diploma in Heritage Education & Interpretation (Newcastle University) and also co-founded Art Walks Mumbai.
Her walks aim not just to narrate history, but to provoke critical engagement with how Mumbai’s past and present shape each other.
