👀🔥 Ivori has a few words after Ahna Mac showed support for Melanie Fox! Ahna Mac recently commented that Melanie Fox deserved to make her return to Baddies seasons ago! 👏🏽🔥 However, Ivori didn’t seem too convinced, responding with a simple “Oh pls” 😭👀 Do y’all agree with Ahna Mac, or are you siding with Ivori on this one? 👀🍿 #baddiesusa #viral #explorepage #zeusnetwork #natalienunn

no, I don’t want a f*cking routine mammogram even at 40 and even with a family history of breast cancer. a mammogram physically compresses the breast tissue and that compression can cause tissue/cell injury. Then you’re exposing that tissue to ionizing radiation from the X-ray. ionizing radiation is capable of causing DNA damage… and mammograms aren’t actually prevention. They’re “early detection” with plenty of downsides: • false positives • unnecessary biopsies • overdiagnosis • false negatives • discomfort • radiation exposure and tissue/cell damage • anxiety from abnormal findings and what a mammogram doesn’t do? It doesn’t address why breast cancer developed in the first place. I’m much more interested in the conversation around actual breast health…nutrition, metabolic health, movement, sleep, stress, environmental exposures, alcohol consumption, and the other lifestyle factors that influence cancer risk. and if I ever felt that I needed breast imaging, I’d rather talk about the alternatives like thermography, rather than assuming a mammogram is the only answer. Questioning a screening test doesn’t mean ignoring breast health. It means asking better questions. And during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I think we should be allowed to question the standard approach to “prevention.” Comment BREAST HEALTH and I’ll share more lifestyle-focused ways to support breast health and reduce modifiable cancer-risk factors.
