I Took My Alabaster Box. Despite the reproach I knelt at his feet and I drenched his feet with my tears. I took out my Oil to pour on his feet but instead he took it from my hands, knelt with me and poured it on my Head instead 🤍
As this Hebrew New Year begins right in time for the fall I can’t help but see how intentional God is. God always steps in and has his way in my life, every fall. In 2023 I spent from Jan to October just trying my best to hold on to God how I knew how to. In November, God stepped in. 2024 I finally received the Love of God, not just his law and his religion. It was so empty living with just that. It showed me that knowing God as religion makes you just as lost as people who don’t know him at all, because if you don’t know God is LOVE, you don’t know God.
I obeyed his every command even when it was hard because I was just soooooo in loveeee. Even when it brought pain, even when it cost me the things and the people I loved, it was nothing in comparison to the reward of standing in the awe, love and reverence of God. He was so close. He always is but I felt it to my core.
It’s fall again, I can’t wait to see how he steps in. It doesn’t mean it will be easy but it is always beautiful in the end.
I’m already in awe of what God will do this Fall Season.
It’s the only season dedicated to complete Transition, but it’s so beautiful to see the leaves fall that you don’t even realize it’s going barren. Then Winter comes…how does God make bareness look so beautiful? Pure white snow. Like manna from heaven in the wilderness, is snow in the bareness of winter. The beauty of God in a scope that feels so dark.
Winter is where God is because in the bareness, the Glory of God is most powerful. 🤍❄️
Rosh Hashannah. Rosh Has Hannah. The Head has Me.
Held in His Hands.
Happy Daughter’s Day To Me. I have the Best Daddy In The Heavens. No one Like Him. No one like the Rock my God. Not One Like My Beloved Baba.🤍
